Meet Terry!

A lucky little Mexican mixed-breed boy whose next chapter is just around the corner! Terry and his five siblings were only six weeks old when they were abandoned in a box outside a shelter near Ajijic, just outside Guadalajara, Mexico. Little Terry weighed a heartbreaking 5 pounds when he first arrived. Thankfully, he and his siblings were welcomed into the care of our friends at Lucky Dog, a local rescue that operates in the Mexican state of Jalisco, where they were lovingly cared for as they grew up.

Known as the "V pups," each sibling was named after a volunteer who helped care for them. While Terry has spent far too much of his young life waiting at the shelter, with little exposure and promotion to help him find a home, his luck is finally beginning to change! This adorable young adult boy is arriving in Oregon on Friday, September 25th! After his long journey, Terry will settle into a temporary foster home in the greater Portland area, where he'll have time to rest, decompress, and adjust to life in the Pacific Northwest. Once he's had a chance to settle in, Terry will be ready to meet his potential forever person or family and begin a home trial to adopt! Terry has waited long enough for his happily-ever-after. Now it's his turn to be seen, loved, and chosen. Could you be the one to give this sweet boy the forever home he's been waiting for?
