Well hello there! My name is Babe Dumbo, and yes, I know what you're thinking—my ears are pretty spectacular. They're big, soft, and perfect for hearing when someone opens a treat bag from across the room! My siblings, Babe Lady, Babe Tramp, and I found ourselves in a crowded shelter in Alabama, which is no place for little puppies. Thankfully, the wonderful folks at K-9 Lifesavers swooped in and gave us the second chance we deserve. Now I'm ready to find a forever family of my very own!
I'm believed to be a Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund mix, which means I've got a whole lot of personality packed into a small package. I'm a friendly, happy-go-lucky pup who loves attention and is always ready to make new friends. Whether it's playtime, cuddle time, or exploring the world, I'm happy just to be by your side.
At my young age, I'm in the perfect stage for training and socialization. I'm eager to learn, ready for adventures, and looking for a family that will help me grow into the best dog I can be. If you're searching for a sweet, lovable puppy with adorable ears and an even bigger heart, then I might just be your perfect match. Apply today and let's start our happily-ever-after together!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.

ABOUT: DACHSHUND DOG BREED
The dachshund is a small dog breed known for its long body, short legs, and distinctive appearance. Originally bred for hunting badgers, these playful and loyal dogs make loving companions for families. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired each with its own unique charm. Despite their size, dachshunds are bold and courageous, with a curious nature that can sometimes lead to mischief. Their endearing personality and adaptability make them popular pets worldwide.
The Miniature Pinscher, often referred to as the "King of Toys," is a small but sturdy breed known for its energetic and playful nature. Originating from Germany, these dogs are characterized by their distinctive high stepping gait and sleek, shiny coat.
