DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Ozzy: Your Potential New Best Friend!
Ozzy is a handsome young Aussie mix who is officially accepting applications for his forever home—and trust us, this good-looking boy knows how to make an impression. With his friendly personality and happy-go-lucky attitude, Ozzy is the kind of dog who makes every day a little brighter (and a lot more fun).
This energetic boy is always ready for action—walks, playtime, zoomies, you name it. He gets along great with other dogs and would love a furry sibling to run and wrestle with. Ozzy is housebroken social, affectionate, and eager to be part of an active household that will appreciate his enthusiasm for life. Unfortunately, Ozzy is heartworm positive, but with treatment provided by K-9 Lifesavers, he'll be feeling fine in no time.
If you're looking for a loyal companion who's equal parts adventure buddy and loving sidekick, Ozzy is ready to be your guy. Apply today and let the good times (and tail wags) begin!

Your pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
