One look at Milton's adorable grin and you'll understand why everyone falls in love with him. Beneath that handsome face is a gentle soul who is quietly hoping for a forever home where he can finally feel safe, loved, and understood.
Milton came from a hoarding situation, so the world can still feel a little overwhelming to him at times. He is naturally shy and can become nervous if someone reaches toward him too quickly, but with patience, kindness, and a calm environment, this precious boy continues to blossom. Because of this, Milton would do best in a home with older children who can respect his boundaries and allow him to build trust at his own pace. One thing that helps Milton feel especially comfortable is being around other confident, friendly dogs. He takes comfort in their presence and would likely thrive in a home with canine companions who can show him the ropes and help him continue gaining confidence.

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.

Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
