DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Speckles! Speckles and his sister, Pup Freckles, were picked up as strays with little hope of making it out of a rural Alabama shelter — until K-9 Lifesavers stepped in to save the day! Now that they're safe, these two are ready to find their forever homes.
This handsome fella sports a gorgeous black and white coat and the most soulful dark eyes. But it's not just his good looks that'll win you over — Speckles is extremely sweet, gentle, and absolutely wonderful with other dogs.
At his young age, Speckles is in his prime for training and socialization. He will be a fabulous addition to an active home that can match his enthusiasm for life! It would have been a shame if K-9 Lifesavers hadn't stepped in — and now it's your turn to be his hero. Apply today and change this very deserving dog's life forever.
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
