female, small, adult
DESCRIPTION
Amberlee is a tiny, four-year-old Miniature Dachshund who was surrendered to a local shelter when her owner could no longer care for her. This delicate angel currently weighs only 6.3 pounds but she is thin and needs to gain at least a couple more to be at her optimal weight. Amberlee is a timid girl who gets overwhelmed easily. This dainty princess is loving and affectionate but she is shy at first. She loves to burrow under a blanket and observe the world around her from her comfy little nest. She sort of does her own thing and would definitely not be labeled a velcro dog. Amberlee prefers a quiet home without a lot of chaos. She would do well with one or two other small dogs but no large dogs for her, please.
SOHFGA is based in Lawrenceville, GA and all of our animals are in foster homes. We schedule meet-and-greets/adoptions by appointment with approved applicants. Amberlee is fully vetted -- spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations and deworming. The adoption fee is $300. We accept payment in the form of cash, CashApp and Zelle. You can apply to adopt at https://sohfga.com/dog-adoption-application/.
