Earl the one-eyed wonder - Yorkshire Terrier and Chihuahua Dog Available for Adoption in Lawrenceville, Georgia

This tiny, toothless, one-eyed wonder is Earl and we absolutely adore him. Earl came to us from a local shelter and he was a hot mess. He was skinny, filthy and matted and his left eye was severely injured to the point of needing to be removed. We dont know how he got hurt but our vet said the injury was old. Poor Earl had been suffering for a long time but thankfully we were able to get him the help he needed. His icky eye has now been removed and he can still see fine out of his remaining eye. The few back teeth Earl still has left have all been cleaned and polished. He got neutered and had a small hernia repaired as well. This little dynamo is healthy and ready to meet his new family.

Earl is estimated to be around seven years old but he acts like a puppy. He is an energetic bundle of playfulness and joy. Earl adores people and he never meets a stranger. He is great with other animals so we want him to have at least one small dog as a pal and playmate in his new home. Earl is crate-trained but he still needs occasional reminders not to tinkle in the house. Belly bands are a helpful tool as he continues to refine his house manners. We have no doubt that Earl will be fully housetrained soon; he just needs someone to be patient and help him learn the rules. Earl is an absolute delight and he will warm your heart with his loving nature and silly antics.
