Hot Wheels is ready for the road! You may remember this little guy from a couple of months back. He came to us from a local shelter after being hit by a car. The left side of Hot Wheels body took the brunt of the vehicles impact, leaving him with a badly fractured front leg and hip. We took him to UGA where he underwent two separate surgeries to fix his legs. A week later, he broke with the dreaded parvo virus. Thankfully he recovered from that illness and now eight weeks later he has been cleared for normal activity from an orthopedic standpoint. Hot Wheels is finally out of sick bay and ready to get back on the road again. Now eight months old, hes ready for his next big adventure....finding a forever home!
Despite his complicated Carfax report Hot Wheels is actually an easy keeper. He now weighs about 13 pounds and he is almost full grown. He has a short, scruffy coat so he wont require much in the way of grooming. He is not a picky eater and he doesnt have any special care needs or behavioral concerns. Hot Wheels is crate-trained and excellent on a leash. Having just come off a two-month period of cage-rest, he is more than ready to make up for lost time. Hot Wheels loves exploring and playing with his toys and dog friends. He zips around with gusto and we love seeing him be able to move about freely again. Hot Wheels is an easy keeper who is easy to love. He is going to be a delightful addition to his new family.
Hot Wheels is fully vetted -- neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations and deworming. The adoption fee is $300. We accept payment in the form of cash, CashApp and Zelle. You can apply to adopt at https://sohfga.com/dog-adoption-application/.
