DESCRIPTION
Adopt Rubert!
Meet Rubert, a 1–2 year old Maltipoo weighing just 9 lbs. This tiny guy may be small, but he’s packed with personality, love, and playful puppy energy! Rubert came into rescue as a stray, very matted and very underweight. With proper care, good food, and a little time, he is now ready to find the loving forever home he deserves.
About Rubert:
• Male
• Puppy energy – playful, fun, and full of life
• Dog friendly – loves to wrestle and chase with other pups
• Kid friendly
• Cats - very briefly met a cat and did well
• Walks well on leash, though he can pull when he gets distracted and wants to play
• Good in the car
Rubert is currently working on house training and getting better every day. He may whine a little when first placed in his crate, but he does calm down and settle after a bit. Given the choice, Rubert would much rather sleep curled up in bed next to his people. Like many young dogs, he can sometimes be a little mouthy when he’s excited, but he’s learning quickly with guidance and continued training.
Rubert is a sweet, silly little ball of energy who loves attention, playtime, and being close to his humans.
After a rough start as a stray, Rubert is ready for a family that will give him the love, patience, and stability he’s been missing.
If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate little companion, Rubert might be your perfect match.
