Arriving October 3rd from rescue partners!

Neal is a sweet 1-year-8-month-old Lab mix, weighing approximately 32 lbs, who was rescued from a pound and is now looking for a patient and loving home.

Neal is a quiet, gentle, and very sweet boy who is extremely shy. He has never shown aggression or reactivity — he simply needs time and patience to build his confidence and learn that he is safe.

He has been tested with other dogs and does well with them. Neal has a low-to-medium energy level and is crate trained, although his house training is currently unknown.

Neal may be a flight risk due to his shy nature, so he will need an experienced foster or adopter who understands nervous dogs and can take extra precautions to keep him safe while he settles in. A secure environment and patient approach will be very important for him.

Neal has tested negative for heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichiosis, and Anaplasmosis.

This sweet boy has been through a lot and just needs someone willing to give him the time he deserves. Once he feels safe, we know Neal has so much love to give.
