Hallie is a loving, playful 4 month old lab mix that weighs 20 lbs. He is estimated to be around 50-55 lbs when she is fully grown. Hallie is best described as smart, social, silly, and so sweet. She is always ready to join in on the fun and is the life of the party when she is surrounded by people and other dogs. She is adventurous, curious, and eager to learn and explore the world around her. She is super smart and loves to engage in fun training activities with her humans, and never passes up the chance to get some yummy treats. She has a fun, curious personality that makes her always ready to join in on the next adventure. Her naturally friendly and outgoing personality makes it easy for her to make new friends, no matter if they're humans, dogs, or cats. She is the kind of puppy who can easily fit into a variety of lifestyles and environments. She is the perfect pup to take with you on fun outings, such as dog-friendly brunch on a sunny patio, a stroll through the farmers market, a day at the beach, or visiting friends and family. She loves experiencing new sights, sounds, and smells and seems to approach the world with a curious, confident, and enthusiastic attitude. Hallie is the kind of dog who wants to experience life alongside her family and would thrive with people who enjoy including their dog in their everyday activities. She doesn't need your constant attention though and is happy to entertain herself when she can't find a playmate. She is the perfect work from home companion because she knows how to be quiet, is generally pretty laid-back, and knows how to keep herself busy with her toys and chew bones when needed. She is ready to bring her silly personality, happy energy, and sweet heart to a family who will enjoy including her in their lives.
Hallie is medium energy, so she is best described as perfect mix of active and laid back.She enjoys getting her energy out through a few shorter activities each day, such as romping around with her doggy friends, playtime in the backyard, or having fun with her favorite toys. Once she has had a chance to stretch her legs and play, Hallie is more than happy to settle down and relax with her people. But when adventure calls, Hallie is always ready to go. She would happily join her family on a long hike, a fun day at the beach, or an afternoon exploring nature trails along the river. She has an adventurous and curious spirit and loves experiencing new places, sights, sounds, and smells. At the same time, she doesn't need every day to be filled with nonstop activity. Hallie is equally happy spending a lazy day at home watching movies, taking naps, and enjoying plenty of cuddles. Hallie would be especially happy with a family that enjoys getting outside. She loves to snoot around in the grass, splash around in the pool, and sunbathe while she naps. She’d make a wonderful companion for leisurely walks, exploring nature trails, weekend adventures, and outdoor activities. As she grows, she’ll love having opportunities to explore, sniff, learn, and experience the world with her people. Whether your idea of adventure is a peaceful walk through the woods or discovering a new dog-friendly spot around town, Hallie is always going to be down to join because she loves to spend time with to her people. On rainy or snowy days, she can keep herself busy inside playing with doggy puzzles and treat dispensing toys. She is incredibly smart and loves to play mental stimulation games that involve her favorite treats. Her adaptable energy level makes her a great fit for families who want a dog that can keep up when it’s time to be active, but also knows how to settle in and relax for lots of cuddle time.
Hallie is dog, cat, and kid friendly. She is currently in a foster home with multiple dogs of different ages and sizes. She loves every dog she meets and would love to have another playful doggy companion in her forever home. She does well with small dogs, big dogs, young dogs, old dogs, and she's managed to win them all over. She knows proper doggy communication skills and how to respect boundaries with doggy friends, and takes correction well if other dogs communicate that they don't want to play. She has such a laid back demeanor that she can hang out with the senior dogs in the home and they don't mind her one bit. There are also kitties in her foster home and she loves to spend time with them. She will patiently lay on the floor and let the kittens jump all over her, bite her ears, and use her as a jungle gym. She would do best with dog-friendly cats that have lived with dogs before because she is a puppy and will want to play with them if there are no other dogs in the home. Hallie is currently in a foster home with kids ranging in ages from 5 to 12, and she adores them all. She is an incredibly sweet, playful, and affectionate girl who truly enjoys being around her people so she would love to grow up with some kids in her forever home.
Hallie is still working on mastering kennel, leash, and potty training. She will sleep in a kennel at night with no fuss, but has to be bribed to go in initially with treats and her favorite toys. She has transitioned to go outside for potty breaks, and has started alerting her fosters that she needs to go out by pacing around the back door. If she isn't let out quickly enough, she will use a potty pad by the back door, but has been able to hold it most of the time in order to give her fosters time to get to the door to let her out. She will need consistent potty breaks every few hours to continue her potty training and establish a good routine once she is in her forever home. She would also benefit from having a doggy doorbell by the back door in her forever home so she can notify you when she needs to go out. She will make it through the night without an accident, but needs to be taken out first thing in the morning when she wakes up. She will need additional leash training in her forever home.
Hallie's ideal home would be one where she can be included in her family’s daily life and get plenty of love, exercise, and attention. She would love to live in a home with a fenced yard to run and play in. She’d also be perfectly content in an apartment, condo, or townhouse as long as she gets regular walks and playtime. She would thrive in a home with another playful, friendly dog to grow up with and continue learning from as she gets older. No public dog parks for this sweet girl because who wants to risk your pup catching a disease or being bullied on by other random dogs anyways. She would love to have fun adventures at Sniff Spots for playtime and exercise if she doesn't have a private fenced-in yard. If you work out of the home, she would benefit from going to doggy day care a few days a week so she can burn energy and play with some doggy friends. She is the perfect pup for a family with kids because she loves to cuddle and loves to play. Whether she is learning something new, making friends, exploring the world, entertaining herself with her toys, or simply relaxing near her favorite people, Hallie is sure to bring plenty of love, laughter, and sweet puppy kisses to her forever family.

TRANSPORT: Currently we have monthly transports. It will be up to the adoptive family to meet the transport to pick up your new family member. Please be advised that our dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to being transported. We cannot bring dogs for a typical meet and greet situation due to the extensiveness of the transport distance.
The cost to adopt is $850, which includes all age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, health certificate from licensed veterinarian, plus any necessary vet care while in our care. Plus transport from Harris' foster home to his forever home. Included is a $200 spay deposit that is 100% refundable and will be paid directly to the adopter's vet once spay procedure is scheduled.
