Henny is a loving, playful 3-4 month old lab mix that weighs 15 lbs. She is estimated to be around 45-50 lbs when she is fully grown. Henny is a sweet, loving, playful and curious. She is always happy and gets the cutest little bunny hops when she's excited. She is best described as playful, curious, and loves being around her people and dogs. She’s the kind of pup who will happily join in on the fun and then soak up all the cuddles afterward. Henny is the life of the party and brings happiness everywhere she goes. She is truly a little social butterfly and absolutely loves meeting new people. Henny is the kind of puppy who happily greets new friends with a wagging tail and an excited, welcoming personality. She loves attention, puppy kisses, and making sure everyone she meets knows just how happy she is to see them. She is the kind of puppy who can easily fit into a variety of lifestyles and environments. One of her best qualities is how adaptable she is. If you’re in the mood to play, she’s right there beside you ready to have fun. If your ideal evening involves relaxing on the couch with a blanket and a movie, she is equally happy curling up beside you for snuggles and naps. She truly embodies a “go with the flow” personality and adjusts beautifully to the energy around her. Henny also has an independent side that makes her especially wonderful for someone who works from home or spends a lot of time at home during the day. While she loves affection and companionship, she doesn’t demand constant attention or entertainment. She’s excellent at self-entertaining and happily keeps herself busy tossing around her toys, chewing on bones, or sprawling out on a dog bed nearby while her humans work or relax. She simply loves being in the same room as her people and is content just hanging out close by. As playful as she is, Henny is equally affectionate and cuddly. She adores being held, snuggled, and loved on every chance she gets. When she’s sleepy, she’ll happily climb right into your lap for belly rubs before drifting off into a cozy nap. With her adorable bunny hops, playful personality, independent nature, and endless love for people and dogs, Henny has so much to offer her future family.

Henny is medium energy, so she best described as a perfect mix of active and laid back. She has short spurts of puppy energy that are easily burned with playtime in the backyard. She requires a few short energy burning activities per day, like short strolls around the neighborhood or play time with her doggy friends. She really loves playing with kids and dogs in her foster home. She always likes to join in on the action if others are playing around her, but if she can't find anyone to play with, she will happily entertain herself with her toys. She would be a wonderful match for an family who wants a pup that can have fun and be able to relax with the family. As she grows, she’ll love having opportunities to explore, sniff, learn, and experience the world with her people. Whether your idea of adventure is a peaceful walk through the woods or discovering a new dog-friendly spot around town, Henny would love to go with you. She is very food motivated and loves playing with puzzles and treat dispensing toys. Her ideal home will have a toy box full of squeaky toys, ropes, and chew toys, and she’d be thrilled to have a BarkBox subscription to keep the fun going with new surprises every month, especially now that she is about to start teething. She has a wonderful balance of playful puppy energy and sweet affection, making her the perfect companion for a family that wants a pup who can keep up with the fun but also knows how to relax and enjoy quiet moments.

Henny is dog, cat, and kid friendly. She is currently in a foster home with multiple dogs of different ages and sizes. She loves every dog he meets and would love to have another playful doggy companion in his forever home. She does well with small dogs, big dogs, young dogs, old dogs, and she's managed to win them all over. She knows proper doggy communication skills and how to respect boundaries with doggy friends, and takes correction well if other dogs communicate that they don't want to play. She has such a laid back demeanor that she can hang out with the senior dogs in the home and they don't mind her one bit. There are also kitties in her foster home and she loves to spend time with them. She will patiently lay on the floor and let the kittens jump all over her, bite her ears, and use her as a jungle gym. She would do best with dog-friendly cats that have lived with dogs before because she is a puppy and will want to play with them if there are no other dogs in the home. Henny is currently in a foster home with kids ranging in ages from 5 to 12, and she adores them all. She is incredibly sweet, playful, and affectionate who truly enjoys being around her people and would love to have kids in the home to grow up with.

Henny is still working on mastering kennel, leash, and potty training. She will sleep in a kennel at night with no fuss, but has to be bribed to go in initially with treats and her favorite toys. She has transitioned to go outside for potty breaks, and has started alerting her fosters that she needs to go out by pacing around the back door. If she isn't let out quickly enough, she will use a potty pad by the back door, but has been able to hold it most of the time in order to give her fosters time to get to the door to let her out. She will need consistent potty breaks every few hours to continue her potty training and establish a good routine once she is in his forever home. She would also benefit from having a doggy doorbell by the back door in her forever home so she can notify you when she needs to go out. She will make it through the night without an accident, but needs to be taken out first thing in the morning when she wakes up. She will need additional leash training in her forever home.

Henny's ideal home would be one where she can be included in her family’s daily life and get plenty of love, exercise, and attention. She would love to live in a home with a fenced yard to run and play in. She’d also be perfectly content in an apartment, condo, or townhouse as long as she gets regular walks and playtime. She would thrive in a home with another playful, friendly dog to grow up with and continue learning from as she gets older. No public dog parks for this sweet girl because who wants to risk your pup catching a disease or being bullied on by other random dogs anyways. She would love to have fun adventures at Sniff Spots for playtime and exercise if she doesn't have a private fenced-in yard. If you work out of the home, she would benefit from going to doggy day care a few days a week so she can burn energy and play with some doggy friends. She is the perfect pup for a family with kids because she loves to cuddle and loves to play, and she would love to grow up with kids in the home. With his sweet personality, gentle nature, and easygoing approach to life, Henny is going to be a great pup for someone that's looking for a laid back and fun companion. She has the kind of personality that makes it easy to imagine her becoming an important part of her forever family. She is happy, loving, playful, and full of personality, but she also has a sweet and independent side that makes her a wonderful companion. Whether she’s hopping around excitedly, making new friends, entertaining herself with a favorite toy, or curling up beside her people for a nap, Henny is simply happiest sharing her life with those she loves. She is ready to find a family to grow up with, make memories with, and shower with all the love and puppy kisses she has to give!
