Abby - Cocker Spaniel Dog for Adoption in Cincinnati, Ohio

Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, November 14th, 2026 at the Warren County Career Center from 11am - 3pm!

Meet Abby, a beautiful 5-year-old, 26 lb chocolate brown Cocker Spaniel with a heart full of love and so much affection to give!

Abby is a sweet people-dog who is happiest when she's by her person's side. Once she bonds with you, she'll become your little shadow, following you from room to room just to be near the person she loves. She's looking for someone who wants a loyal companion and is ready to shower her with the love and attention she deserves.

Abby came from a puppy mill, so she is still discovering what it means to be a cherished family member and learning all about the wonderful world outside of the only life she has known. She may need a little patience and understanding as she continues to build confidence, but watching her discover the joys of being a beloved dog will be incredibly rewarding.

The good news? Abby already has some great qualities! She is:

Potty trained
Crate trained
A good leash walker
Low to medium energy
A loving, people-oriented companion
Abby would do best in a home where she can be the only dog and have her person's love and attention all to herself. She isn't looking for a busy household or a life full of adventures. She's looking for the simple things: a cozy place to call home, a kind person to trust, a soft spot to nap, and someone who will make her feel safe and loved.

If you have room in your heart for a sweet girl who just wants to be someone's everything, Abby might be your perfect match.

Abby is fostered in Cincinnati Ohio. Her adoption fee is $450.00.

To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
