DESCRIPTION
Meet Roman – Small Pup, BIG Personality!
Roman is bursting with love, charm, and just the right amount of sass. Roman is a 10-week-old Lab/English Shepherd mix puppy. He is the smallest of his litter, but definitely the most determined to be noticed (and picked up!).
He is about 9 lbs now and expected to grow into a handsome 50 (ish) pound adult dog. Roman is just a baby, but we are working on potty-training.
The moment Roman is in your arms, he melts into pure snuggly happiness—kisses included.

Our Rescue does not spay and neuter pups at young ages so the Adopter will have to get that done at one of our Houston vets at no cost to them or if with their own vet - they will receive rebate of $100 once he is neutered between 6-12 months of age. Butterscotch will be microchipped & is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. He would benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands he has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with his new family.
NOTE: THIS IS AN "OUT OF TOWN PET" - that means he is not at this location, but we do have transport here - more about transport below. Our Rescue is Houston based (https://www.facebook.com/TwilightTailsRescue) and all our fosters and Rescue Ranch are in and around Houston.
Although currently this dog is being fostered at our Rescue Ranch near Houston, TX, he can be brought close to your home on rescue transport which comes through your area once a month. Transport info below.
Adoption fee is $350 plus $30 for a health certificate and $260 for transport.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on-time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will be updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
We use what we think is the best dog transport service in the region and have for years - Andrea and her crew really offer first class transport! This dog is currently being fostered at our Rescue Ranch near Houston, TX.
