Meet Sweet May, a Lhasa Apso x Maltese x Yorkie and/or Shih Tzu mix who is 7 months old and weighs 8lbs. Her coat is silky and soft and the most beautiful golden chestnut!
Once upon a quiet afternoon, in a home filled with soft footsteps and gentle voices, there was a little puppy named May.
May didn’t rush into the room.
She didn’t bounce or tumble like some puppies do.
Instead… she watched.
She listened.
She waited.
May is the kind of puppy who takes her time.
She’s still learning that the world is a safe and loving place—
that hands are for petting,
that voices are kind,
and that she belongs.
At first, she may seem a little reserved… a little unsure.
But if you sit quietly…
if you give her a moment…
She will come closer.
And when she does—
Oh, what a sweet moment it is.
May will gently climb into your lap,
curling up like she’s always been meant to be there.
Because deep down, more than anything,
May wants to be close to her people.
That’s where she feels safest.
That’s where she feels home.
May is still finding her confidence.
New sounds, new places, new experiences—
they can make her pause and think things through.
But with a calm, patient family…
with soft encouragement and steady love…
May will blossom.
Right now, she and her sibling are learning all the important puppy things.
They are eating well—growing strong on Hill’s Science Diet puppy food.
They’re working hard on potty training and doing a great job with their pads indoors.
And they’ve just begun their little adventures outside—
learning the leash, the grass, and the big wide world.
Every day, May gets a little braver.
A little more curious.
A little more sure.
She doesn’t need a loud home.
She doesn’t need chaos.
May needs something much more special—
A gentle heart.
A quiet space.
A person who understands that the best kind of love…
is the kind that grows slowly.
And one day, when May fully comes out of her shell…
You’ll realize something beautiful.
She didn’t just learn to trust the world—
She chose you to trust.
Sweet May is waiting…
for a soft place to land.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on-time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
We use what we think is the best dog transport service in the region and have for years - Andrea and her crew really offer first class transport
