Meet Rusty Rowan!
This adorable one year old, 9-pound Jack Russell Terrier mix is a little bundle of energy with a whole lot of love to give. Rusty is a happy, playful pup who loves to have fun and keep his people smiling. His sweet personality and joyful spirit make him a wonderful little companion.

Rusty is crate trained and enjoys being around people, cats and dogs. He's working hard on his potty training and is learning more every day. This tiny guy has a big heart and is ready to bring lots of fun, cuddles, and happiness to his forever family.

Rusty is heartworm negative and will be neutered soon.

All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info will be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.

***Take Paws Rescue, based in New Orleans, saves dogs from high-kill shelters across the South, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our animals live in foster homes where they are socialized and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it's the perfect match!
