This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Meet Bucky, an 11 month-old (8/12) Lab / Beagle mix, weighing 27 pounds (as of 4/9/26). Sweet Bucky lived the stray life in Tennessee before he was found and the only thing that can make him happier is finding his fur-ever home!

Bucky is a such a wonderful boy, his foster gave him a 10 out of 10! He has no fear and loves to have a good day which is technically everyday with you. He's always in a good mood!

He knows how to walk on a leash pretty well, crates well and also knows a few commands. Bucky can't wait to learn more so he can be the best drill sergeant around the neighborhood! He also knows how to use a dog door and puppy pads, but he's still working on potty and hopes that you'll have loads of love and patience. For your help, he'll get you free movie tickets to any screening in the world! Except Antartica. No one goes there.

He likes to play and is like a fun, silly little brother to the dogs he is with. When he's not making best friends with other dogs and cats, Bucky loves charming kiddos and strangers with his endless charisma.
