DESCRIPTION

Meet Koda & Togo — A Bonded Pair

Koda and Togo have been inseparable since they were just weeks old. Koda came home first, and Togo joined the family shortly after, and from that point on, the two have been attached at the hip. At home, they lay together, follow each other everywhere, play together, and even eat and drink side by side. Neither is food aggressive, and they're often found finishing off each other's bowls when they're done. They also get along wonderfully with the family cat, making them an easy fit for a multi-pet household.

Koda is the red and white one, 6 years old, weighing roughly 50 to 60 pounds. Given the choice, Koda would spend all day outside, and he loves any toy you hand him. He enjoys getting up on the bed to snuggle and tends to "talk" while he plays, though otherwise he's pretty quiet. When left indoors, he's calm and well-behaved, happy to lay around or settle into his crate, and he's never once been destructive. Koda takes a little time to warm up to new people (ignoring him at first actually speeds things along), but once he does, he becomes deeply attached, the kind of dog who will simply sit and stare at you, hanging on every word, wanting nothing more than to be near you. He does have a zinc deficiency, but it's fully managed through diet, and he no longer has any flare-ups.

Togo is the gray and white one, 8 years old, also weighing 50 to 60 pounds. He's a big ball of energy who'd much rather be inside than out; he'll go do his business and come right back to be by your side. He's an enormous people person who loves every human he meets, adults and kids alike, and he has no issues with cats either. Togo isn't much of a toy dog, but he makes up for it with his signature full-body flop whenever he gets attention, an adorable habit that never fails to make people laugh. He's well trained, goes into his crate on command, and stays put. He's also completely healthy with no health issues at all. Mornings and evenings, Togo likes to "talk," letting you know he's awake or that he's hungry, especially if you talk back to him.

Both dogs are neutered, and vaccines are up to date and being maintained on schedule.

These two have never known life without each other, and they're looking for a home that will keep it that way. Could your family be the one to take them both in?

Adoption fee: $750 for the pair. Includes transport to the Midwest, Northeast, or Southeast.
