Meet Belle!

Belle knows what it feels like to be an inconvenience, even though she never should have been one. She came to us as an owner surrender back in July, given up during a move when her family simply couldn't take her along. Just like that, a young life was left behind through no fault of her own.

Now approaching 9 months old, Belle is a 22-pound Boykin mix with a sweet, half-docked tail and absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. Despite the way things turned out, she's fully vetted, leash trained, and bursting with bounce and energy. But underneath all that playfulness is a girl who just wants to curl up in your lap and soak up your attention.

Belle recently joined an event with the police department and did fantastic, showing off her confidence and good manners in a big new environment. She gets along well with both male and female dogs, though because of her smaller size, she often ends up grouped in with our 4 to 5 month old puppies since everyone else tends to be giant next to her.

Belle is spayed and heartworm negative, fully ready for her next chapter. She was given up once for reasons that had nothing to do with her. She deserves a family who will love her for good.
