DESCRIPTION
Hi, I'm Louise!
I'm a 2-year-old, 41-pound Husky mix, but I might surprise you. I'm a very calm, loving, and laid-back girl who is happiest just being near the people I trust.
I was recently surrendered and found myself in a loud, crowded shelter. It was a scary and confusing place to be, but thankfully Paws Fur Recovery came to my rescue and gave me a safe place to decompress while I wait for my forever family.
I'm house trained, I get along well with other dogs, and I really enjoy spending time outside. I'm still working on my leash skills, so I'm hoping to find someone who will patiently show me the ropes. I'm a quick learner and eager to please, so I know I'll get the hang of it.
More than anything, I want a family of my own. I'm ready for a home where I can feel safe, loved, and finally know that I belong.
If you're looking for a sweet, easygoing companion to share your life with, I hope you'll come meet me.
Adoption Fee: $295
Please Note:
All potential adopters must be open to a home check and provide vet records to confirm that any dogs in the household are spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations.
The husky breed is renowned for its striking appearance, characterized by piercing eyes and a thick double coat. These medium sized, energetic dogs are known for their friendly and outgoing personalities, making them wonderful companions for active families. Originally bred for sledding and endurance in cold climates, huskies are intelligent and independent, often displaying a strong prey drive. Proper training and regular exercise are crucial to keep these playful and social animals happy and well adjusted.
