Hi, I'm Matilda!

I'm a 1-year-old, 26-pound Blue Heeler mix, and I'm so thankful to finally be somewhere safe.

I was recently rescued from a loud and scary shelter, where everything felt overwhelming and uncertain. Thankfully, Paws Fur Recovery came for me, and I'm already feeling so much more comfortable now that I know I'm safe and surrounded by people who care about me.

I've been told that I'm a super sweet girl, and I have to agree! I absolutely love being around people and soaking up all the attention I can get. I also get along with other dogs, I'm house trained, and I walk well on a leash, so I think I'm going to make a pretty great adventure buddy.

I can already picture my future: walks together, new places to explore, lots of time with my favorite person, and coming home at the end of the day knowing exactly where I belong.

For now, I'll keep enjoying my time at Paws Fur Recovery and dreaming about the family that's out there looking for a girl just like me.

I think the best adventure of my life is still ahead of me, and I can't wait for the day I hear someone say...

"Matilda is going home with us."
