Luna - Husky Dog for Adoption in Falmouth, Maine

Look at those gorgeous eyes! Pretty Luna has been vetted, spayed, microchipped, and has received a clean bill of health from our vet. She is now ready to make her way home to you! Here's what we know about LUNA:

- Luna is about 1.5-2 years old, and weighs @ 53lbs. She is full grown.

- As you can tell by her absolutely stunning features, Luna is a husky mix. What she is mixed with is anybody's guess, but she is a great girl pup made up of all of the best things!

- Luna and her playmate Charlie came into rescue when their elderly owner could no longer care for them. They have since been receiving lots of TLC in foster care, and are ready to find forever homes of their own now.

- Luna has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines. Our vet has given her a clean bill of health as well.

- Luna is what we consider a "plug and play pup" who has most of her training down pat already. She is housebroken, crate trained, and walks really well on a leash. She is still working on commands but is super smart and eager to please so we know she will be excited for anything else her new family might want to teach her!

- Luna loves other dogs and enjoys playing with them at foster mom's house. She is especially bonded to her playmate Charlie. She would do just fine as the only dog, but certainly wouldn't mind a doggy playmate of her own too! We would say she has a medium level of energy and would benefit from consistent walks and playtime to keep her mentally and physically stimulated.

- Luna has done well with kittens in the past, but has chased some outdoor cats in foster mom's yard so a future home with cats may not be the best fit for her unless the cats are very dog savvy.

- Luna loves kids, and would make a great family dog. Foster mom says she is very sweet and affectionate and loves to play.

- We would love for Luna to have a fenced in yard of her very own where she could run and play at his leisure.
