Animal Information: Moose and his sister Maple were surrendered to our rescue by a Good Samaritan. While visiting friends on reservation land, she noticed two very emaciated puppies wandering outside. Sadly, a third puppy from the same group had already passed away, likely due to malnutrition. The puppies did not have access to food or water.

Seeing their condition, she made the decision to bring Maple and Moose home and began searching for a rescue in the Seattle area that could take them in. After meeting the puppies, we agreed to help and bring them into our care.

Maple and Moose are estimated to be around 3.5 months old and currently weigh under 10 pounds each. Their parents are known on the property. Their mother is a Siberian Husky mix and their father is an Australian Shepherd.

They are now safe and receiving the care they need as they begin their journey toward healthy, happy lives.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166).

Animal History: This dog was surrendered to our rescue when after they were rescued by a good samaritan and arrived to foster care on 4/20/26. They will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.
