Animal Information: At just 3-years-old and a petite 11 pounds, Honey is as gentle as her name suggests. She arrived at the Stanislaus shelter in Modesto as a stray, and it was clear she had recently been caring for puppies of her own. Despite being a little shy at first, Honey’s personality is soft and loving.

Under her quiet demeanor is a sweet soul who’s ready to blossom in a safe, caring home. We cant wait to help her find her family here in the PNW.

Foster Profile:

Honey has been the easiest foster. She has the sweetest, calmest personality you could ask for. She’s incredibly quiet so far, we haven't heard her bark!

She appears to be fully potty trained, is comfortable in her crate, and walks beautifully on a leash, making her an easy companion both at home and out on strolls.

Honey is currently living with larger dogs and does just fine with them. She’s not particularly interested in other dogs and tends to do her own thing, handling their energy with ease and confidence.

Her favorite place to be? Right on your lap. Honey is extremely cuddly, gentle, and affectionate. Honey seems to thrive on close companionship. While she has a playful side, she seems to be more of a homebody who enjoys walks but is always happy to return to the comfort of home.

If you’re looking for a calm, loving, low-key companion who will happily curl up beside you on the couch, Honey might just be your perfect match.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Animal History: This dog was transferred from Stanislaus Shelter in Modesto, CA, where she came in as a stray. She will be transferred via Wigglebutts, arriving to foster care on 04/19/26 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.
