Chihuahua and Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption in Bothell, Washington

Animal Information: Pinto is an estimated 1-year-old female chihuahua mix that weighs 8lbs. She was surrendered to the Caddo Parish shelter when her owners said they could no longer care for her. Unfortunately, Pinto was still lactating which meant they kept her babies but dumped the mama. Despite that, she is soft and sweet, and so looking forward to finding a family that will cherish her.

Ready for a pretty little prancing dog? Pinto’s the girl for you! This little cutie puts the spring in her step, is playful and so very sweet. She loves to chase toys, but not as much as she loves kisses. She’s a very affectionate little girl! She's a little shy and nervous at first (and barks the first time she meets a new person), but she warms up quickly and when she does, she loves to be held and to cuddle and give kisses! She’s excellent at napping right next to you if that’s your thing. She likes to sit in your lap too and to be carried around.

Pinto seems to be housetrained and walks well on a leash. She gets along swimmingly with other dogs and has no issues with cats. She’s crate trained, but might bark for a bit as she's settling in if you're not in the room with her.

Pinto is impossibly cute with long legs for a little dog and the most fantastic min pin-esque markings.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Animal History: This dog was transferred from Caddo Parish Animal Services in partnership with Tail Lights Rescue Project. She will be transferred via TLRP, arriving to foster care on 4/11/26 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.
