Machitas, also known as Spots, is a happy, confident, and outgoing boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He's intelligent, curious, social, and full of that playful puppy spirit. Whether he's chasing a ball, exploring his surroundings, playing with his canine friends, or soaking up attention from his favorite humans, Machitas approaches life with enthusiasm and joy.
He loves being around people and other dogs and has a wonderful balance of affection and independence. While he enjoys socializing and playing, he also knows when it's time to step away and enjoy a little quiet time.
Personality & Compatibility
Dogs: Yes! Machitas gets along well with other dogs and currently shares his space with two canine companions.
Kids: Yes! He is friendly and comfortable around children.

Sleeping Arrangements: Machitas sleeps comfortably in his designated kennel area and follows his foster routine well.
His rescuers believe he may have previously lived in a home, as he has shown a natural ability to adapt to new environments and routines.
His Ideal Forever Home
Machitas would thrive with an active, loving family who enjoys spending time outdoors and including their dog in everyday adventures.
He would love a home where he can enjoy daily walks, playtime, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection. His intelligence and playful nature make him a wonderful candidate for continued training, interactive games, and fun activities.
A securely fenced yard would be a bonus, giving him a safe place to explore and burn off some energy.
Machitas could do well as an only dog with plenty of human companionship or as a second dog in a home with a compatible canine friend.
Most importantly, he's looking for a family who will give him the love, stability, and companionship he deserves.
Machitas' Rescue Story
Machitas was found wandering alone through a residential neighborhood on the outskirts of Guadalajara, Mexico, near a wooded suburban area.
Despite being on his own, he showed a trusting and friendly nature from the very beginning. He welcomed human attention and quickly demonstrated his sweet, social personality.
Sadly, no family ever came forward to claim him. With no identification or anyone searching for him, it's unclear whether Machitas had been abandoned or simply lost his way.
Thankfully, rescuers stepped in and gave him a second chance.
Since his rescue, Machitas has continued to show just how resilient, loving, and adaptable he is. He's made friends with the other dogs in his care, embraced his foster routine, and maintained his happy, playful spirit.
Now, the only thing missing from his life is a family to call his own.
