Cindy's Personality
Cindy is a sweet, playful, and social 11-month-old girl with the perfect mix of puppy energy and affection. She loves her daily walks, exploring new things, and—most of all—playing with other dogs! While Cindy enjoys being active, she also knows how to settle in at home. She loves spending time with her people and is perfectly happy relaxing nearby after a day of fun. She is friendly, curious, eager to learn, and ready to experience all the things that come with being a loved family dog. Although Cindy has not lived with children, she has met kids while out on walks and has always appeared comfortable and friendly around them. Her gentle and affectionate personality shines through wherever she goes.
Cindy's Ideal Home
Cindy would thrive with a family who is ready to embrace the fun of a young dog and make her part of their everyday life. She would love a home that enjoys walks, playtime, adventures, and plenty of quality time together. Because Cindy is social and loves playing with other dogs, she could be a wonderful companion for a friendly resident dog. She could also be happy as the only dog as long as she receives plenty of attention, exercise, and opportunities to socialize.
As a young dog, Cindy will benefit from a family committed to continuing her training and helping her build confidence as she grows. In return, they will get a playful, affectionate, social companion who is eager to learn and even more eager to love.
Cindy's Rescue Story
Cindy was supposed to have a home from the very beginning, but sadly, her story didn't start that way. She was born in an impoverished neighborhood on the outskirts of Guadalajara, Mexico. Her mother was allowed to roam the streets and eventually became pregnant. Cindy and her siblings were born into the same uncertain life, growing up on the streets without the safety every puppy deserves. By the time a local rescuer learned about the litter, only Cindy and one of her sisters remained. She immediately brought both puppies into her care, giving them the safety, food, and love they desperately needed.Cindy's sister eventually found a local home, and soon Cindy was adopted too. Everyone hoped she had finally found her happily-ever-after. Unfortunately, only a couple of weeks later, Cindy's adopter called her rescuer and said she no longer wanted her. She told her that if Cindy wasn't picked up that same day, she would put her back on the streets. Her rescuer didn't hesitate and immediately brought Cindy back to safety. Despite everything she has experienced, Cindy remains the same happy, trusting, playful, and loving girl. She hasn't let her past change her sweet nature or her love for people.
Now Cindy is ready for the family she deserved from the very beginning—a true forever home where she will never have to worry about being unwanted or abandoned again. Cindy has already been given a second chance twice. This time, we want it to be forever.
