Just like the northern lights she's named after, Aurora is impossible not to notice. This stunning silver girl turns heads everywhere she goes with her unique gray- and-gold coat, beautiful amber eyes, and that happy bounce in her step that makes everyone who sees her smile. We would guess that she is a Weimaraner mix, wrapped up in one perfectly medium-sized package, at just 38 lbs.

Aurora was brought into a shelter in rural Alabama with her puppies, who were already weaned. They made it out of the shelter in the nick of time, just before their scheduled euthanasias due to over-crowding. All of them went into foster homes to await medical vetting and adoption down there, or a chance to hitch a ride north on a transport.

Aurora lived in the same foster home as Dr. Nevis, and they are besties. But then again, Aurora is the kind of dog who is best friends with everyone, as you can see in her videos! She is also very smart, and knows commands including "Gimme Five!"

Aurora loves dogs, and she really LOVES people! She is the kind of dog who thinks every human was put on earth specifically to pet her. She's playful, affectionate, and always ready to tag along for whatever adventures you've got planned.

Aurora is incredibly loving, social with dogs and people, and full of joy. She was a good mom and kept her babies safe. Now she's ready for someone to choose her for the happy life she deserves.

Aurora's adoption fee is $300. She is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
