Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption in Wheeling, Illinois

Roquefort came to us with his momma, Ensalada, and his 7 siblings from Texas in mid- April at just 3 weeks old. Ensalada and her pups arrived in rough shape, they were flea infested and anemic. Thankfully, they recovered in no time and are now healthy and ready to find their forever homes!

Roquefort is a happy go lucky pup that always wants to be in the middle of things! All of his siblings are playing and wrestling, he wants to be in the middle. Everyone is working on 'Sit' he is right there. Someone is giving his siblings love, don't forget about him! Roquefort will be a wonderful addition to a home that is looking a sidekick to do everything with, we hope you will come and meet this little cutie soon!

Roquefort's adoption fee is $450. This animal is spayed/neutered, and is up to date on core vaccines appropriate for their age.

They will need a rabies vaccine at 4 months of age and a Heartworm test between 6-7 months of age at the adopter's own vet.

Since he is a puppy, any adopter should anticipate needing to work on housebreaking and other training using positive reinforcement training only.
