If you've ever watched Survivor, you already know one thing about Cirie. Everyone loves Cirie. Seriously. She somehow walks onto an island full of strangers and, before long, has everyone smiling, laughing, rooting for her, and wondering how she became their favorite person without them even noticing. Our little Cirie appears to have adopted that exact strategy. Cirie has discovered that happiness is contagious, and she's made it her full-time job to spread it. Give her a ball, and suddenly you've got front-row seats to the greatest sporting event in puppy history. She'll enthusiastically bounce after it with all four paws occasionally forgetting they're supposed to work together, turning every chase into an Olympic-level display of adorable chaos. We're honestly not sure whether she's chasing the ball or if the ball is somehow leading her, but either way, you'll be laughing too hard to care. Then there are the pounces. Oh, the pounces. It's impossible to watch without smiling. Despite all that playful energy, Cirie has absolutely no objections to interrupting her very important puppy business if someone would like to scoop her up for kisses. Whether she's in the middle of playing, investigating something fascinating, or preparing for her next dramatic pounce, she's perfectly happy to pause everything for a cuddle session.
Cirie Fields is a 6-week-old, 11-pound female Great Pyrenees/potential Anatolian Shepherd mix. Mom certainly looks like a purebred Great Pyrenees, but Dad has remained one of rescue's greatest unsolved mysteries. Somewhere out there, he cast his vote, vanished into the wilderness, and apparently decided paternity was someone else's problem. Until he makes a surprise appearance at the reunion show, "potential Anatolian Shepherd mix" is the best we've got. Cirie came to rescue alongside her incredible mama, Carolyn, and all of her siblings after their little tribe found themselves abandoned with nowhere safe to go. Thankfully, a kind-hearted Samaritan stepped in but was not properly equipped for a mom and several tiny puppies. As the puppies grew, there was growing concern that Carolyn's milk supply might be drying up, and everyone worried these hungry little contestants weren't getting enough to eat. That's when our own Survivor alliance formed. Fosters opened their homes. Transporters rearranged their schedules. Volunteers showed up. Formula appeared. It truly took an entire village to make sure this family had everything they needed. Once Carolyn realized she and her babies were finally safe, she relaxed, settled into her new surroundings, and got right back to being the phenomenal mama she'd always been. With such a large litter, the puppies still needed supplemental bottles to help keep all those growing bellies full, but together everyone made sure these puppies had the opportunity to thrive. Based on her current growth, we'd estimate she'll probably mature somewhere around 70-80 pounds...give or take. Can we promise you an exact adult weight? Of course....just as soon as Jeff Probst awards us the hidden immunity idol that comes with the power to see the future. Until then, we'll stick with our best educated guess. One thing we don't have to guess is the kind of dog Cirie is becoming. She's playful, affectionate, endlessly entertaining, and already has the remarkable ability to make people smile simply by being herself. She's growing into the kind of loyal, joyful, gentle giant that makes you wonder how you ever lived without this girl.
If there were an award for "Most Likely to Leave Tribal Council With Ten New Best Friends," Cirie would win it unanimously. When it comes to other dogs, she's operating under one very simple assumption: Everyone is already my friend. If you have four legs and a tail, congratulations! You've just been recruited into Team Cirie. She absolutely loves other dogs and approaches them with the kind of optimism we should all aspire to have. New friend? Wonderful! Existing friend? Even better! She's convinced the world is one giant puppy playdate, and honestly...we're rooting for her to be right. Cats remain one of the few contestants she hasn't officially met yet, but if Cirie were placing bets, she'd probably assume they're going to love her, too. In her mind, this seems perfectly logical. Will the cat share that opinion...that feels like a conversation best left between Cirie and the cat. Children introduced Cirie to an entirely different kind of reward challenge. The first time she met kids, she wasn't immediately sold on the whole experience. Tiny humans tend to arrive with approximately 4,000% more excitement than necessary, and Cirie wisely decided she might observe from a safe distance before signing any alliance agreements. Then someone brought out the toys. Suddenly everything clicked. Once toys entered the equation, Cirie was all in. The kids immediately became much more interesting, and she happily joined the fun. The toys, the games, the laughter—it all made perfect sense. Being carried around, however? That's still under review. Unlike some of her siblings who firmly believe every available set of arms exists solely for transportation purposes, Cirie would currently prefer to keep all four paws on the ground while she investigates the world herself. She's perfectly happy accepting pets, joining in the fun, and hanging out with everyone...she'd just rather not spend the afternoon being passed around like the reward challenge trophy. Cirie has the kind of personality that's impossible not to enjoy. She's playful without being over-the-top, social without being pushy, confident without being reckless, and curious enough to make every day an adventure.
Cirie's energy level settles in around a 5 out of 10, which is really just another way of saying she has an excellent understanding of work-life balance. When Cirie decides it's time to play, she and Sandra become the unofficial entertainment committee for the entire litter. The two of them bounce around the room, pouncing on toys, pouncing on siblings, pouncing on absolutely nothing in particular, and generally behaving like they've just discovered a hidden immunity idol. Cirie is also currently deep into what can only be described as her Professional Pouncing Era, and it's every bit as adorable as it sounds. She'll happily chase a ball around the room with complete determination, throwing her whole little body into the adventure and somehow making every bounce funnier than the last. Watching Cirie play is like watching a tiny comedian who doesn't even realize she's putting on a show. Before long you'll catch yourself laughing at absolutely nothing...except the fact that she's having the time of her life. One of the sweetest things about Cirie is how wonderfully easygoing she is when it comes to affection. Whether she's in the middle of chasing a ball, preparing for her next championship-worthy pounce, or conducting important puppy business, she's perfectly happy to pause everything if someone wants to scoop her up for a few kisses. Honestly, if there were an award for making people smile without even trying...Cirie would've won it before Tribal Council even started.
Now, like every contestant, Cirie still has a few challenges ahead. Potty training is one of the biggest. Right now she's just beginning to understand that humans have designated bathroom locations, and frankly, she finds this concept unnecessarily complicated. Leash training should be equally entertaining. At this point, the leash is less of a walking accessory and more of a mildly suspicious noodle that insists on following her everywhere. Basic obedience is another adventure waiting to happen. Cirie is a smart little cookie, but she's also part Great Pyrenees, which means she'll occasionally approach your commands like they're friendly suggestions rather than legally binding contracts. You'll say, "Sit!" and she'll respond with, "Counterpoint...what if I came over for a belly rub instead?" With patience, consistency, positive reinforcement, and plenty of encouragement, she'll learn everything she needs to know. Socialization is one of the most important reward challenges you'll complete together. Cirie already has a wonderful combination of confidence, curiosity, and playfulness, and continuing to introduce her to friendly people, polite dogs, new places, everyday sounds, car rides, different surfaces, and new experiences will help her grow into the calm, confident gentle giant she's meant to become. The more positive adventures she has now, the more prepared she'll be for all the adventures waiting later in life. Cirie already has everything you can't teach—a joyful spirit, a goofy sense of fun, a loving heart, and the ability to brighten everyone's day just by being herself. The rest? That simply comes with time, patience, consistency...and accepting that your favorite socks may need to spend a few months in witness protection instead of hanging out wherever you threw them
Well...You made it all the way to the end. Which means one of two things has happened. Either you're seriously considering adopting Cirie... Or you accidentally spent the last fifteen minutes becoming emotionally attached to a tiny fluffy puppy who treats every ball like it's the most exciting reward challenge in Survivor history. Honestly? Both seem equally likely. So... If you've decided Cirie has officially won the title of Sole Survivor in your house, it's time for your first immunity challenge. Don't panic. This one's surprisingly easy. No standing on tiny platforms for six hours. No swimming through muddy water. No eating mystery insects while Jeff Probst enthusiastically narrates your poor decisions. No solving a puzzle while
