Every royal family has one...the heart of the kingdom.
Every kingdom has its loud personalities. The ones making grand entrances, stealing the microphone, and accidentally turning every gathering into an event. Honor is...not that royal. She's the princess who quietly slips into the room, politely waits her turn, and somehow ends up stealing your heart anyway. Honor doesn't believe she needs to demand attention because she's already figured out something much more powerfulkindness gets you everywhere. While the rest of the court may be busy debating who deserves the throne, Honor is perfectly content leaning against your leg, soaking up gentle pets, and reminding you that sometimes the greatest strength comes wrapped in the softest heart. There's something wonderfully old-soul about this little girl. She carries herself with a calmness that's almost impossible to believe in a nine-week-old puppy. If Majesty is the queen, Countess is the diva, and Legacy is the royal event planner who somehow turns every afternoon into a festival... Honor is the heart of the kingdom.

Honor is a 9-week-old, 14-pound female Great Pyrenees, and despite carrying a name that sounds like she was born inside a castle with silk bedding, endless royal banquets, and servants whose sole responsibility was delivering belly rubs on demand...her story began a little differently. Instead of growing up behind palace walls, Honor spent the first weeks of her life weaving through traffic like she was participating in the kingdom's annual "Please Don't Get Hit by a Car" tournament while also trying to avoid the coyotes that patrolled the area as if they were collecting taxes from unsuspecting puppies. Thankfully, the royal rescue party arrived before tragedy struck. As if surviving traffic and coyotes wasn't enough, this sweet little princess had to face one more battle before she could begin her happily ever after. She tackled parvo with the same gentle determination that seems to define everything she does. Surrounded by incredible veterinary care, devoted foster parents, medications, and an entire kingdom rooting for her recovery, she fought her way through like the tiny warrior she is. Today, the only battles Honor plans on participating in involve deciding whose lap she'll nap in, whether belly rubs should continue indefinitely (spoiler alert: yes), and politely reminding everyone that she deserves just one more cookie.
When it comes to court etiquette, Honor may actually be the only member of the royal family who has read the handbook. She absolutely loves other dogs, but unlike certain unnamed princesses (cough Majesty cough), Honor understands that introductions don't require launching herself into someone's personal bubble at Mach 3. She happily joins the festivities, enjoys playing with her canine companions, and somehow already possesses the emotional maturity to recognize when another dog isn't interested in socializing. Imagine that...a puppy who respects boundaries. We were just as shocked as you are. As for cats, the neighboring feline kingdom has yet to respond to our request for diplomatic negotiations, so Honor remains officially neutral on international cat relations. She also hasn't had the opportunity to meet any little humans yet, but based on her gentle personality and surprisingly good manners, we think she'd do just fine. Like any puppy, she'll still appreciate supervision and guidance as she grows, but she seems to have skipped the chapter where puppies believe every moving object exists solely to be tackled. Meeting new people is where Honor quietly shines. She absolutely loves making new friends, but she doesn't believe in making a dramatic entrance. While some members of the royal court greet visitors like they're campaigning for public office, Honor simply trots over, gives you that sweet face, and patiently waits her turn for affection. No flying paws. No body slams. No enthusiastic attempts to climb into your bloodstream within the first thirty seconds.
On the Royal Activity Scale, Honor earns herself a perfectly balanced 5 out of 10. She's not the princess organizing a jousting tournament before breakfast, nor is she spending the entire day napping on a velvet pillow. She has just the right amount of energy to play, explore, enjoy a little adventure, and then happily retire to the castle for what she considers the most important royal duty of all...Receiving pets. She's already proven herself to be an excellent traveler, too. Leash walks will have to wait until Her Highness is a little older, but we suspect she'll take to them beautifully with a little patience and training. She seems like the kind of girl who will genuinely enjoy strolling alongside her family, taking in the sights, greeting the occasional admirer, and pretending she's inspecting the kingdom instead of sniffing the same patch of grass for four straight minutes. Honor is, without question, one of the sweetest little souls you'll ever meet. She's the kind of puppy who somehow makes the whole room feel calmer just by being in it. There really is something wonderfully old-soul about her that makes you forget she's still just a baby. Water, however, has failed to earn royal approval. Apparently splashing around is simply not on today's schedule. Toys? Absolutely. Honor enjoys playing just like any puppy should, especially when it means spending time with her siblings. And fetch...Well...Honor fully supports the concept of you throwing the ball. She enthusiastically supports the concept of her chasing the ball. The part where she returns it? That appears to be a task best delegated to the castle staff. After all...A proper princess has people for that.
When it comes to choosing her forever kingdom, Honor would likely appreciate a securely fenced yard. Could she potentially adapt to apartment life? Maybe. She's still young enough that we're learning exactly who she'll become. But one thing we do know is that she's a Great Pyrenees, and this breed has a long-standing family tradition of deciding they'd like to conduct independent inspections of neighboring properties. We'd really hate for Honor to embark on an unscheduled royal tour of the neighborhood, so a secure fence is definitely the safest option. Potty training is still a work in progress, which is exactly what we'd expect from a baby puppy. With consistency, patience, and plenty of praise, she'll continue learning the ropes like the bright little princess she is. At bedtime, Honor settles into her crate beautifully. She sleeps alongside one of her sisters and treats her crate like a cozy little royal suite where she can recharge for another day of being absolutely adorable. Like every teething puppy, Honor briefly decided that table legs and chair legs were excellent chew toys thoughtfully handcrafted for her personal enjoyment. Thankfully, once appropriate chew toys and bones entered the picture, she quickly caught on. She's a smart little girl who's more than happy to chew the things she's actually supposed to. She's also remarkably quiet. In fact, the only thing we've consistently heard her bark at is deer wandering through the yard. Apparently even the gentlest princess feels obligated to remind the local wildlife that they are, in fact, trespassing on royal property. If there's one thing future adopters should know, it's this: Honor is simply...easy to love. She's the kind of puppy who quietly works her way into your heart before you even realize it's happening.
Has Honor quietly stolen your heart without making a single dramatic entrance?
Yeah...she has a habit of doing that.

And yes...you'll need to come retrieve your princess yourself.
Honor has politely declined travel by Amazon Prime, UPS, FedEx, dragon, magic carpet, enchanted carriage, royal pigeon, trebuchet, or any other questionable delivery method. We even asked if she'd consider teleportation, but apparently that's still "under review" by the Royal Council.
A princess deserves to meet her forever family face-to-face.
