Meet Marshmallow and his siblings - the Frozen Litter, a beautiful group of Great Pyrenees puppies raised with love, guidance, and plenty of canine companionship. Growing up in a lively foster home, they’ve learned routines, enjoy lots of socialization, and even mastered the doggie door - already showing the thoughtful, steady nature Pyrs are known for. Marshmallow is the class clown of the litter - a silly, goofy, water-loving boy who keeps everyone laughing. He dunks his whole head into the water bucket, splashes with his feet, and turns the baby pool into his personal playground. On hot days, he prefers the indoor water bowl so he can enjoy his splashing in the comfort of the air-conditioning. He’s social and independent, plays wonderfully with all the dogs, and happily marches to his own tune. Marshmallow is the puppy who sleeps in longer than his siblings, loves a good belly rub, and melts when someone gives him attention. Full of personality, full of joy, and full of love - he’s the perfect mix of goofy fun and sweet affection. As they mature, these pups will develop the classic Pyr blend of gentleness, independence, and guardian-breed awareness. Because of this, they will need a family experienced with large breeds, a 5-foot secure fenced yard, and another large-breed dog in the home to help model confident, appropriate behavior. Structure, patience, and an understanding of Pyr traits will help these puppies grow into the incredible adults they’re meant to be. Marshmallow’s perfect family is one that appreciates a puppy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He thrives with people who enjoy his silly antics, welcome his independent streak, and love a dog who brings laughter into the home. If Marshmallow sounds like the joyful, entertaining Pyr you’ve been hoping to welcome home, we’d love to hear from you. Submit an adoption application and take the first step toward meeting him - he’s so ready to be someone’s beloved Pyr.

Due to the high level of interest we can't respond to emails unless an application has been submitted.
Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
