DESCRIPTION

Meet Walker, a drop-dead gorgeous Pyr mix who is turning heads everywhere he goes - seriously, everyone who meets him comments on how beautiful he is! Walker was picked up as a stray in Alabama, found walking along the highway, and now he's loving life in foster care! He's a sweet, playful, affectionate boy who is leggy, puppy-like, and always up for a good time. He is leash trained, crate trained, and knows "sit." He is food motivated and eager to learn, happily accepting any treat that comes his way, and will give his paw to ask for attention.

Walker has a medium-high activity level and would thrive with active people who have plenty of energy to match his own. He loves play wrestling with other dogs, soaking up attention, playing and racing on the deck, parkour, chewing on deer antlers, and charging and prancing through high grass. The one thing he's not a fan of is going outside in the rain! He prefers to be an inside dog, but would love a 4.5 foot fenced yard for some zoomies! He barks about average for a Pyr, so a home with enough space between neighbors would be ideal.

Around other animals, Walker is an excellent match for female dogs and would absolutely love a lady canine playmate. He seems okay with male dogs too, though he's not quite as relaxed around them. Dog-savvy cats should do just fine with him - he's not aggressive and will happily ignore a cat that's just chilling, though he may give chase if a cat takes off running. Walker is friendly when meeting new people, and while he hasn't had exposure to kids, his friendly nature bodes well, so sturdy kids who can handle his big-puppy antics should do fine. He's not a digger, which is always a bonus!

Walker has a sweet, loving spirit - he just wants love and attention, and he's game for anything as long as it involves having fun. Stunning, sweet, and full of personality, Walker is looking for an active family with room to run, a female canine companion to play with, and he has plenty of love to give in return.
