Caramel is a 2 years, 7 months old female Golden Retriever/Miniature Poodle who weighs 16 pounds.

Waffles is a 2 years, 1 month old male Golden Retriever/Miniature Poodle.

Some bonds are just too sweet to break, and Caramel ("Mel") and Waffles are hoping to find a home where they can stay together! These adorable Golden Retriever/Poodle mixes are looking for a fresh start through no fault of their own, as their family is moving somewhere that doesn't allow pets.

Waffles is the laidback gentleman of the duo. He's usually the first to warm up to new people and is happiest enjoying life at his own relaxed pace. Toss him a tennis ball, and he'll happily entertain himself, or invite you to join the fun!

Caramel, is more shy and takes some time to feel comfortable with new people. She feels braver when she sees Waffles greet new people. But once she trusts you, she has a wonderfully sweet side and loves nothing more than curling up in your lap for some affection.

Together, they make a lovely pair, each with their own personality and plenty of love to give. They're hoping for a patient, loving family who will welcome them both and give them the time and space to settle in. They may be able to live with older children who know how to be respectful and patient. They would have to meet them first. They have never lived with/been around cats.

*Mel is on a 30 day treatment plan for Lyme's Disease and will be placed as a foster to adopt with WARL providing her medication.
