Can you imagine becoming a mom twice before your first birthday? That's been life for sweet Snacks.

This young girl has spent much of her short life raising kittens. When her family became overwhelmed by the growing number of cats and babies, Snacks came to WARL looking for a fresh start. Her kittens are now growing up, finding homes of their own, and it's finally Snacks' turn to be cared for instead of caring for everyone else.

Now that her motherhood duties are behind her, we're getting to know the wonderful cat underneath.

Snacks is a social, curious, and intelligent young lady who likes to keep up with everything happening around her. She's often busy exploring her surroundings and checking in on the people nearby. Call her name, and she'll happily answer back. She enjoys attention and absolutely loves head scratches and neck rubs.

While she's not currently a full-time lap cat, she's affectionate in her own way and enjoys spending time close to her people. We suspect that once she's settled into a home of her own and can finally relax, her cuddly side will continue to blossom.

One of our favorite things about Snacks is her expressive tail. It lets you know exactly what she's thinking! We've seen it swish dramatically when her kittens were testing her patience, but now that she's retired from motherhood, she's ready to trade chaos for comfort and enjoy the carefree life she deserves.

Because Snacks has spent so much of her young life focused on raising kittens, we're still learning about some of her preferences. At this time, we're unsure how she would do with other cats or dogs, so any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly and thoughtfully. However, her friendly and social nature leads us to believe she would do well with respectful older children who understand when she wants affection and when she simply wants to relax.

Snacks has spent her life putting others first. Now she's looking for a family who will spoil her with love, treats, cozy places to nap, and plenty of well-earned attention. Could you be the one to show this young mama what a carefree cat life feels like?
