Nylah - German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Krum, Texas

Meet Nylah!

Nylah is a 2-year-old, 65-pound sweetheart with a heart of gold and an incredible story of survival! This beautiful girl has overcome so much, and now she’s ready for the happy ending she deserves.

Nylah was placed on the euthanasia list at a shelter due to lack of space, but thankfully, a Good Samaritan stepped in to save her life. Unfortunately, she was critically ill and had to be rushed straight to the emergency vet. She was battling pneumonia, eye and ear infections, and a severe skin infection that veterinarians suspected may have been caused by someone pouring bleach on her.

After weeks of intensive treatment, antibiotics, IV fluids, and lots of love, Nylah made an incredible recovery! Today, she’s healthy, happy, and showing everyone just how wonderful she truly is.

Nylah is an incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate girl who loves people! She’s a big cuddle bug but also has a playful side. She enjoys walks, running around, and playing with her favorite toys. She’s also great with kids and gets along well with other dogs!

Why you’ll love Nylah:

* Super sweet, gentle, and affectionate
* Loves people and cuddling
* Great with kids
* Dog friendly
* Loves walks, running, and playing with toys
* Knows sit, stay, give paw, and go
* Potty trained and crate trained
* Spayed, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated
* A resilient survivor with so much love to give

Nylah does have a higher prey drive, so a home without very small dogs or other small animals would be best.

At just 2 years old, Nylah has her whole life ahead of her. She’s already survived the hardest chapter of her story, and now all she needs is a family to help her write the happiest one.

Her past was heartbreaking, but her future can be BRIGHT!
