Meet Mae Mae!

Mae Mae is a 2-year-old, 40-pound Pit Bull mix with a heart full of love and a wonderfully laid-back personality! This sweet girl absolutely ADORES people and is always happy to soak up some affection. She’s friendly with everyone she meets and has so much love to give!

Mae Mae is a girl who knows how to appreciate the little things in life. She loves finding a sunny spot to stretch out and soak up the warmth, going for leisurely walks, and simply relaxing while watching the world go by. She’s perfectly content taking it easy and enjoying the company of her favorite people.

While Mae Mae is dog friendly, we believe she would thrive most as the only dog in the home, where she can enjoy all the love and attention for herself! That said, she does well with other calm, easygoing dogs who share her relaxed approach to life. She’s simply not looking for a rowdy, nonstop playmate and would much rather enjoy a peaceful environment.

At 2 years old, Mae Mae has a lovely balance of enjoying her daily walks and being perfectly happy to relax at home. She walks well on leash, although she may pull a little when something particularly interesting catches her attention. She’s also potty trained and crate trained, making her an easy companion to welcome into your home!

Mae Mae hasn’t been around cats yet, so we can’t say for certain how she’d do with feline friends. However, she typically doesn’t show much interest in chasing wildlife, and we’d be happy to arrange a cat test if needed!

Mae Mae would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a loving companion who doesn’t need constant activity or excitement. She’d especially love a home where she can be the center of attention, enjoy some daily walks, and spend plenty of time lounging in the sunshine.
