Willow, now known as Shasha, is a beautiful, intelligent girl who is ready to find a family that understands her and will help her continue to thrive. She has so much potential and is looking for a home that will provide patience, consistency, and loving guidance.

Shasha enjoys going for walks and walks nicely on a leash. She rides calmly in the car, settles well in her kennel, and enjoys spending time with her people. She is friendly when meeting visitors in the home, although she can become very excited and may jump or use her mouth during play. With continued training and structure, she is eager to learn and continues to make progress.

She has accompanied her handlers on outings, including trips to Home Depot, where she showed some nervousness and interest in small dogs. During training with Nancy, however, she did well around both dogs and even horses. Continued positive socialization will help build her confidence.

Like many herding breeds, Shasha has a natural instinct to herd and may nip, especially when excited. Because of this, she would do best in a home with older children who understand dog behavior and can respect her boundaries.

Shasha is looking for a home with a confident, experienced handler who will provide clear leadership, ongoing training, and plenty of mental and physical enrichment. She is a smart girl who wants to succeed and will flourish with someone committed to helping her become the best companion she can be.
