ADOPTION OF A PUPPY UNDER 9 MONTHS OF AGE

The dog you are interested in is a puppy (under a year old). We have criteria for our adoptions of puppies. Puppies are adopted on a foster-to-adopt basis until the puppy is old enough to be neutered/spayed (we prefer them to be no younger than 7 months for females and 9 months for males). Houses with pools must demonstrate that puppies can be protected from the pool with fencing or a cover. Home visits for shots will be required, so puppies are adopted to homes in Maricopa County only. Puppies often have multiple potential adopters, so SPR evaluates what home is best matched with any given puppy and their expected home needs once they have grown.

Rudy is a handsome German Shepherd puppy with an adorable personality and some seriously big paws! If those paws are any indication, this boy is likely going to grow into a big, beautiful German Shepherd just like his brothers, Bentley and Bodie.

Rudy has been seen by the veterinarian and received a clean bill of health. He has been raised with the loving care of dedicated staff and volunteers who have worked hard to help him grow into a happy, social puppy.

This sweet boy enjoys meeting people and is doing well with children. Rudy is learning about the world around him and continuing to build his confidence and social skills every day. He is curious, playful, and always ready for his next adventure.

Like all puppies, Rudy will need continued training, guidance, and socialization as he grows. In return, he promises plenty of puppy kisses, laughs, and loyal companionship for years to come.
