Maren has already proven what an incredible dog she is. Despite finding herself in a difficult situation, she did everything she could to care for and protect her puppies. Through uncertainty and hardship, she remained devoted to her babies, showing the kind of unconditional love only a mother can give.

Now that Maren is safe in rescue, it's finally her turn to be cared for.

As her puppies grow and begin finding homes of their own, Maren has been learning that life can be more than just survival. She has gained strength, enjoys going for walks, and loves spending time with the volunteers who adore her gentle nature. She is a very sweet girl with a kind soul and a loving heart.

Maren has done her job raising her puppies. Now, all she wants is a forever family to call her owna home where she can relax, enjoy the simple things in life, and trade the worries of her past for the comfort of a cozy sofa bed indoors.

Saving Paws Rescue AZ is an all-volunteer, 501 (c) (3) charitable organization in Phoenix, Arizona, dedicated to providing veterinary care, evaluation and adoptive homes for German Shepherd Dogs , Belgian Malinois and others who are left in pounds to await uncertain fate, are owner surrenders ( divorce, death, etc.) or are from abusive or negligent situations. We help provide a safe harbor for German Shepherds and other breeds that might otherwise be destroyed.
