Amaya is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside: a gentle, soulful shepherd mix with the softest chocolate brown eyes that tell a story of resilience, love, and quiet strength.

At just 12 years old and around 35 lbs, Amaya has already been through so much. She was found at a rural pound, pregnant and in need of help, when RARE stepped in to give her the chance she deserved. Not long after, she gave birth to her seven puppies, the Explorer Litter, and proved to be the most devoted, loving mama.

Now that her puppies are growing up, its finally Amayas turn to be cared for, cherished, and chosen.
