Meet Meatball 💙
Meatball is a 2 year old pittie mix weighing around 60 lbs of pure muscle… but underneath all that muscle is just a giant softie who wants to be close to his people.
After ending up on the euthanasia list at a rural pound, Meatball is finally safe in foster care — and he is settling into home life beautifully.
He absolutely loves lounging on the couch with his people and soaking up all the pets, kisses, and cuddles he can get. He’s also discovered that he loves spending time outside, happily relaxing on his lead while his foster works in the yard like the perfect little sidekick.
Meatball is great on walks and genuinely enjoys getting out to explore. He has a calm, affectionate personality with just enough goofy charm to make everyone around him fall in love. And once he’s fully relaxed? Prepare yourself for the cutest big snores you’ve ever heard. 🥹
He’s also doing great with his foster sibling, and we think he would do well with other dogs with proper introductions.
He’s the kind of dog who makes a house feel warm and lived in — a loyal companion who is just happy to be included in everyday life.
Meatball is looking for a forever home where he can keep doing what he loves most: being near his people, going on walks, soaking up affection, and living the safe, comfortable life he always deserved. 💙

All of our Adoptables are:
Spayed/neutered; Up to date on vaccines; Heartworm tested if six months or older (& kept on heartworm preventative and treated for heartworms if positive when entering our program): Microchipped prior to adoption
BREEDS: We are not breed experts. The breed(s) listed for each adoptable are best guesses or suggestions.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a non-profit organization without municipal or government funding. Veterinary/Medical expenses are constant for an animal rescue. Our adoption fees not only help to provide vetting and care for the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need in order to be made available for adoption.
Please understand that adopting an animal is a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to that animal and there will be veterinary expenses throughout their life that can often cost several hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (without pet insurance), especially without annual checkups and preventative care. As a potential family for this pet you are responsible for their safety and that includes keeping them on your property.
***If you are not in the middle Tennessee area, transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes, depending on distance and local adaptability. We normally do not allow adoptions outside of 1.5 hours driving distance.
