He arrived on April 10 as a stray, a bit unsure of things but already showing everyone here just how special he is. This one year old boy is a classic German Shepherd through and through. Loyal, beautiful, eager to bond and stay close to his person. He walks nicely on leash and likes to trot right at your side We’ve introduced him to a friendly female dog and he did wonderfully. He enjoyed play time and would absolutely thrive in a home with another dog who matches his energy. Watching him loosen up and enjoy himself has been such a joy. He’s young, he’s smart, and he’s trying his best to figure out the world around him. Like many young shepherds, Donny will benefit from some basic obedience polish. He kind of knows how to sit, especially when treats are involved, but sometimes he decides laying down is close enough. It’s honestly charming and it shows he is willing to learn, he just needs a person who will guide him.
