DESCRIPTION
Meet Sherlock
Sherlock, one of the charming pups from the "Detective Litter," is a 3 month old boy with the perfect blend of playful puppy energy and laid-back charm. True to his name, he's a thoughtful little observer-happy to take in the world around him before deciding when to jump into the action.
Sherlock enjoys playing and wrestling with his siblings, but he's not always the center-of-attention type. After a bit of fun, he's just as likely to grab his favorite toy, find a cozy spot, and watch the action unfold. He's independent, easygoing, and perfectly content doing his own thing. Of course, he also loves a good cuddle and will happily snuggle up when it's time to relax.
He does great with other dogs and would do well in a home with a canine companion, though he's confident enough to entertain himself too. He hasn't been around cats yet, so slow introductions would be important.
Sherlock comes from a mix of corgi, dachshund, chihuahua, and terrier, and is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog around 25-35 pounds. He's currently working on crate training and, like many puppies his age, is still learning his manners-including being a bit "puppy bitey." Because of this, he would do best in a home with children over 10 who can help guide him with positive training.
He and his siblings experienced some sensitivity to spring pollen early on, but he's doing great now with proper care. To keep him feeling his best, we recommend he continue on a salmon-based sensitive skin and stomach food.
If you're looking for a puppy who's equal parts playful and peaceful-a little companion who enjoys fun but also appreciates the art of relaxing-Sherlock may just be your perfect match
