DESCRIPTION
Laurie (A566179) has been waiting patiently, and we are hoping her person sees her soon She arrived as a stray on March 12th and, sadly, was never reclaimed. Since then, she has been here with us for several weeks, watching others come and go while she continues to wait for her chance. Laurie is a good, playful girl who truly enjoys being outside. Give her a yard and a little bit of space, and she will happily spend her time exploring, playing, and soaking up the fresh air. She has a fun, energetic personality that shines brightest when she is able to let loose. She has been tested with male dogs and has done well, though her play style is on the more energetic side. Laurie does not hold back, and her idea of fun can include a full-body slam or two. Because of that, a tolerant, easygoing male dog would be the best match for her. Treats are a quick way to her heart, and she is more than happy to work for them. With a little consistency and guidance, she has all the potential to continue learning and growing into a wonderful companion. Laurie is a good dog who has simply been overlooked for too long. She is ready to leave the shelter behind and start fresh with a family of her own. If you are looking for a playful, outdoorsy companion and have a home that can match her energy, Laurie is waiting to meet you. Laurie is guesstimated to be 2 years old and weighs 55 lbs. All dogs adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are spayed/ neutered, microchipped, dewormed, appropriately vaccinated, and receive a topical 90-day flea/ tick preventative. Ready to meet Laurie? All you have to do is stop by our shelter at 4950 Triana Blvd and head to our dog areas. You can find her in kennel D51. All adopters must be 19 years or older with a valid ID
