SHARPIE

Pit Bull Terrier
April 21st
male, medium, young

DESCRIPTION

Sharpie (A566916) may be new here, but he is already one of the easiest dogs to spot. This boy arrived on April 20 as a stray who has not been reclaimed, and he has wasted absolutely no time showing us his personality. If you want quiet or calm or slow and steady, Sharpie is not your guy. If you want a walking exclamation point with legs, keep reading. The second he gets outside, Sharpie launches into the kind of zoomies that should probably come with a warning label. He sprints, spins, zigzags and looks like someone hit fast forward on a puppy. While it is not required, Sharpie would thrive in a fenced in yard because this boy needs space to scribble out that energy. Watching him run is like watching a toddler discover crayons for the first time. Absolute cinema. He has been tested with both male and female dogs and did fantastic. Sharpie is a social rockstar who loves other playful dogs and would be a great match for a multi dog home. His favorite activity, besides zooming, is playing with squeaky toys. Sharpie does not just chew on them. He presses the squeaker with his nose repeatedly like he is trying to communicate in Morse code. We cannot confirm he is sending messages, but we cannot rule it out either.. Sharpie is silly, affectionate and full of life. He is not a dog who blends in. He is a dog who makes every room brighter and every walk fun. If you want a companion who brings joy everywhere he goes, Sharpie might be the perfect little marker for your family. Sharpie is estimated to be around 1 year old and weighs 32 pounds. All animals adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are microchipped, appropriately vaccinated, spayed/neutered and given a 30 day flea/tick preventative. Ready to meet Sharpie? Stop by 4950 Triana Blvd SW in Huntsville, Alabama. No appointment is necessary to meet our available animals. All adopters must be 19 years or older and be able to provide a valid ID.
