Chickoo is a 4-month-old German Shepherd puppy with a big personality and an even bigger future ahead of her. We suspect she may be a long-haired Shepherd, but no promises just yet as she's still growing into those adorable puppy looks!

Chickoo was surrendered to one of our veterinary hospital partners because she was deemed "too much to handle." In reality, she's exactly what you'd expect from a young German Shepherd: smart, energetic, mouthy, curious, and always looking for something to do. She craves attention, training, structure, and engagement, and she will thrive with an owner who understands how to channel all that puppy enthusiasm into productive outlets.

Like many shepherd puppies, Chickoo is currently in her nippy, land-shark phase and is learning appropriate manners. For that reason, we will only consider homes with German Shepherd or similar working-breed experience and no children under 10 years old.

Chickoo is not the puppy for someone looking for a laid-back companion right out of the gate. She is, however, the perfect puppy for someone who loves the intelligence, loyalty, and versatility that make German Shepherds such incredible dogs. With consistency, training, and patience, Chickoo has all the makings of an amazing lifelong companion.
