Charles - Beagle and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Cincinnati, Ohio

Meet Charles (aka Charlie), a 5.5-month-old 16 pound Beagle mix pup with a big personality, a lot of puppy energy, and a whole lot of love to give! This playful boy enjoys his toys and being around his people. Charlie's always ready for fun and isn't shy about jumping up to show you how excited he is to get affection!

Because Charlie is still learning his puppy manners, he would do best in a home with older kiddos who understand how to interact with an energetic puppy. A fenced yard would also be ideal for him to run and play.

Charlie is crate trained, doing real well with potty training, and almost a master at walking on a leash! He's off to a great start!!!

If you are looking for a fun-loving, playful pup who will keep you smiling and fill your days with puppy love and adventures, Charlie might just be your perfect match

Charles is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $400.00.

To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

The Beagle is a beloved breed known for its friendly nature, curious personality, and distinctive howl. These small to medium sized dogs are incredibly sociable and get along well with both humans and other pets. Beagles are curious and energetic, always eager to follow a scent with their incredible sense of smell, making them excellent hunting and tracking dogs. Their short coat is easy to maintain, and they are adaptable to various living environments, making them popular companions for families and individuals alike.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
