Squints McFlirts - Flat Coated Retriever and Black Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in New Orleans, Louisiana

Meet Squints McFlirts! One of the Sandlot Kids with a Game Plan for Your Heart!

"Heroes get remembered, but legends never die!" And this little guy is already making a name for himself, one meal, one snuggle, and one adorable puppy nap at a time!
Introducing Squints McFlirts, one of eight precious puppies in Take Paws Rescue's Sandlot Kids litter, inspired by the classic movie The Sandlot! Born on August 28, 2026, Squints and his seven siblings had a "ruff" beginning when their mama, Ruthie, delivered them under a trailer. But just like the best underdog stories, these little guys are getting their chance to shine!

At 3 pounds, Squints is still a pint-sized player, but he's already figured out some of life's most important rules: never miss a meal, stick close to your friends, and always make time for a good snuggle! This handsome little fellow LOVES mealtime, so if you're looking for a puppy who appreciates a good dinner, Squints is your guy!

But there's more to this little charmer than his appetite. Squints loves hanging out with the big dogs, happily following them around and learning the ropes. When all that exploring wears him out, he knows exactly where to find the best nap buddies. He'll snuggle right up beside his canine pals and snooze away, perfectly content in their company. How sweet is that?!

With his soft black coat, soulful eyes, and laid-back love of canine companionship, Squints is already winning hearts without even trying. He's got the makings of a wonderful family companion, and we can just imagine him growing up to be the kind of dog who's always ready for an adventure but never too busy for a cuddle.

His start may have been a little rough around the edges, but Squints McFlirts is ready for his own happily-ever-after. All he needs now is a family to cheer him on, fill his bowl, and give him a lifetime of love!
Ready to let this little Sandlot Kid steal home plate in your heart? Squints is ready to play for keeps!

Squints will be vaccinated, microchipped and neutered, all covered by his adoption fee.
