Meet Maddie!

Maddie is a gorgeous English Bulldog (maybe some Frenchie mixed in) with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She's happy, goofy, loves to make people laugh, and has never met a stranger.

Maddie was returned to rescue after the family who adopted her as a puppy realized their senior dog just couldn't keep up with her youthful energy. Through no fault of her own, she's now thriving in foster care and ready to find the right forever home.

She loves people of all ages and gets along great with other dogs. In fact, we'd love to see her in a home with another playful dog who enjoys wrestling and running around as much as she does.

Maddie walks nicely on a leash or harness, enjoys car rides, sleeps quietly in her crate at night, and is almost fully housetrained. As long as she's let outside regularly, she does very well.

As is common with English Bulldogs and other flat-faced breeds, Maddie may eventually require BOAS (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome) surgery to improve her breathing. If recommended, this procedure will be covered by Paws New England through one of our partner veterinarians.
